The Legacy of Our Ranch: A North Texas Tradition Since 1902
In 1902, our family laid the foundation for what would become a proud legacy of ranching in the heart of North Texas. Settling in the rolling plains, our ancestors built this ranch from the ground up, guided by a deep respect for the land, hard work, and the cowboy way of life.
A Ranch with History
Nestled in a town rich with stories of the Old West, our ranch has stood the test of time. Nearby is famous for being the hometown of legendary author Larry McMurtry, whose novels, like The Last Picture Show and Texasville, captured the essence of small-town Texas life. The silver screen even brought Hollywood to our doorstep, as these classics were filmed right here in our community.
But our town’s history stretches even further back—to the days of outlaws and renegades. Jesse James himself once found refuge in these parts, using the rugged North Texas landscape as a hideout. The very land our ranch sits on has seen the footprints of cowboys, lawmen, and pioneers who shaped the Lone Star State.
Five Generations and Counting
For over five generations, our family has raised cattle, tended crops, and kept the spirit of Texas ranching alive. What started with a handful of cattle and a simple homestead has grown into a thriving operation, always staying true to the traditions that built it.
Today, we are honored to share a piece of our legacy through the Texas Rancher Club, allowing others to own a small part of our historic land and become part of the story.
From the dusty trails of the past to the open skies of the future, our ranch continues to stand as a testament to the resilience, heritage, and pride of North Texas.
